Tim Luke Featured
Tim Luke, CAI, BAS, MPPA has extensive background in fine & decorative arts, antiques and collectibles. He was a featured appraiser on HGTV’s show “Cash in the Attic” and has participated as an appraiser on public television’s “Antique’s Roadshow.” He is an active member of the National Auctioneers Association (NAA), serves on the Graduate Personal Property Appraiser (GPPA) committee and is the Chair of the the elections committee for the organization. He is also an instructor for GPPA, Expert Witness, Interpersonal Communications for Auction Professionals and is an AQB Certified USPAP instructor for The Apprasial Foundation's Uniform Standards of Appraisal Practice (USPAP) 15hr & 7hr personal property courses.
Before becoming an independent consultant, he worked at Christie’s auction house in New York City as Director of the Collectibles Department.
Tim has authored of two books on the history and background of collecting. As a member of the National Auctioneers Association, he has achieved the designation of CAI from the Certified Auctioneer Institute, Benefit Auction Specialist (BAS) and Master Personal Property Appraiser (MPPA). He is president and co-owner of his own auction, events and appraisal business, TreasureQuest Group, Inc.
