Sue McGovern-Huffman is an independent appraiser, art dealer, lecturer, writer and consultant, specializing in ancient cultures. Born in Sydney, Australia she has been involved in ancient art, specializing in Greek, Roman, Egyptian, and Holy Land antiquities since 1985.

As an accredited member of the International Society of Appraisers, Sue provides active appraisal work. She has completed appraisals for insurance coverage, estate tax calculation, non-cash charitable contributions, and property division and specializes in large-scale appraisal and consulting assignments for market value conclusions. Sue is an accredited member Appraiser (ISA AM) with a specialty in Ancient Art with the International Society of Appraisers, an international multi-disciplinary certifying and accrediting organization. The International Society of Appraisers has a mandatory recertification program for all senior members and Sue is in compliance with that program. Sue has completed courses in appraisal practice and theory and is current with requirements for the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).
